Reviews and Ratings
The Dhensa resort offers a stunning retreat with incredible views of the Punakha Valley. The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated, providing a serene atmosphere. However, some service aspects could be improved, particularly in customer communication. The dining experience was a highlight for dinner but could use more variety during breakfast.
We had a lovely family getaway with amazing views and great service, but a couple of issues with food labeling dampened our experience for strict vegetarians. Additionally, the staircase situation could be challenging for older guests. Overall, the stay was beautiful with some room for improvement.
I had a wonderful stay at the hotel, which offered breathtaking valley views and a memorable sunrise experience. The service was attentive, particularly in the open-air restaurant that I found charming. However, the bathroom in our room had an unpleasant odor, and the meals were average for the price. Overall, I feel it could be a bit pricey for what’s offered, especially compared to other hotels I’ve stayed in.
My stay at Dhensa was truly memorable. Nestled in a scenic pine forest on a hill, the property offers spacious, comfortable rooms with stunning views from the balconies. The dining experience was top-notch, serving delicious Indian and Bhutanese cuisine. However, while the hotel is luxurious, it could enhance its value offerings, particularly given its price point. Overall, it's a serene getaway for those looking to unwind in nature.
I had an incredible time at Dhensa Resort, with breathtaking views and beautifully designed rooms that truly felt luxurious. The staff were courteous and attentive, enhancing the experience overall. However, the breakfast service left much to be desired, and there was an unfortunate miscommunication regarding a book from their library, which affected my overall impression. Overall, it was a fantastic retreat despite a few service hiccups.
